The Tramex Heavy-duty Pin-type Probe for wood and wood by-products is a hand-held pin electrode supplied with cable and pins, for use with the Tramex MEX5 Moisture Encounter and CMEX5 Concrete Moisture Encounter. It allows pin-type moisture content measurement in wood and wood by-products, complementing the non-destructive scanning modes of the host meter.

The current HH14TP30-B uses the B-type connector fitted to the latest Tramex 5 series meters. The older HH14TP30 has a phono (jack) connector for legacy Tramex meters such as the CMEX2, MRH3 and PTM.
