The Tramex Hammer-action Pin-type Electrode for wood and wood by-products is a slide-hammer pin electrode supplied with cable and pins, for use with the Tramex CMEX5 Concrete Moisture Encounter and MEX5 Moisture Encounter. The hammer action drives the insulated pins deep into timber, allowing moisture content readings at depth and at specific layers within thick timber sections, flooring and structural members.

The current HA21SP52-B uses the B-type connector fitted to the latest Tramex 5 series meters. The older HA21SP52 has a phono (jack) connector for legacy Tramex meters such as the CMEX2, MRH3 and PTM.
