Description
Calibration Check Box for the Tramex Moisture Encounter ME5 and Moisture Encounter MEX5 non-destructive moisture meters. The calibration check box allows for regular on-site calibration checks, giving inspectors and technicians confidence that their meter is reading within factory tolerances before and during survey work.
To perform a check, place the ME5 or MEX5 on the box in the correct orientation with the electrodes in position, then lightly compress the meter as when taking a reading.

- Wood – Timber: ME5 and MEX5: 19.0% plus or minus 1.0%
- Shallow Depth (ME5): 14.0% plus or minus 2.0%; Shallow – Wood (MEX5): 14.0% plus or minus 2.0%
- Drywall – Roofing: ME5: 22.0% plus or minus 2.0%; MEX5: 62.0 REL plus or minus 2.0
