Description
The Tramex Building Survey Inspection Tech Kit is a compact kit comprising the Moisture Encounter MEX5 and a pin electrode. It allows for both non-destructive and pin moisture content readings of drywall, wood, plaster, brick, ceramic tiles, resilient flooring, laminates, roofing and numerous other building materials.
The Moisture Encounter MEX5 moisture meter measures moisture content in wood and drywall and provides comparative readings in a variety of building materials. The MEX5 features a dual depth measuring range, with deep depth penetration of up to 1 1/4″ (30mm) and shallow depth penetration of up to 3/8″ (9mm). The dual depth readings of surface and core moisture can be compared to eliminate the influence of the substrate when testing coverings.
The MEX5 also features a built-in hygrometer for ambient conditions and psychrometric values, an infrared surface thermometer, and works with the hand-held probe for wood, drywall and WME readings.
Bluetooth connectivity to the Tramex Meters App allows visualization of readings, moisture mapping and data reporting to mobile devices. Users can GeoTag test results, create, save and share photos, reports and charts, and view the meter screen on a phone when extending to hard to reach places.
The kit comes with a protective easy-travel case.
